How long have you been in business?
We've been in business for over 70 years. Our legacy began in 1952 with our first location in Williston Park, NY.
What types of appliances do you repair?
We repair various household appliances including stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, TVs, and surround sound systems.
What sets your company apart from other appliance repair companies?
Our amazing technicians! Our technicians are all held to the highest standard, receiving training directly from manufacturers, certifications, and continued education. In addition to their extensive training, each of our technicians is screened and drug-tested for safe work conditions.
Will the technician call before coming to my home?
Yes, typically our technicians will call you about 30 minutes before they arrive at your property.
Do I need to thaw my refrigerator before the technician come to check the unit?
This depends on the repair and your specific situation. If you give us a call, one of our technicians can help you out.
How do I know if my appliance is worth repairing?
A good rule of thumb: if the repair costs less than 50% of the price of a new appliance and your unit is under 8-10 years old, repairing is often the better option. Also, high-end appliances may be worth repairing even if they’re older due to their original value and quality.
Can repairing help extend the life of my appliance?
Absolutely. A proper repair can often add years of use to your appliance and help you avoid the hassle and expense of replacement.
What factors should I consider before deciding to replace?
Consider these points:
• Age of appliance
• Cost of repair vs. replacement
• Energy efficiency of a newer model
• Frequency of past repairs
• Availability of parts for older models
Are there hidden costs when replacing an appliance?
Yes. Replacing an appliance can come with extra expenses such as:
• Delivery and installation fees
• Haul-away fees for your old unit
• Upgrades to meet current code or compatibility
• New fittings or venting for certain appliances
• Potential damage to flooring or cabinetry during installation
